I am Joe, 53, single, never married with no children. I am 5' 8" with a muscular build, about 200 pounds. I walk and ride bike most every day. I worked in "bush" Alaska for over 20 years, living with the Eskimos, as a schoolteacher, principal and coach of sports. It was a tough life being alone in villages with only access by small airplane, with very little conveniences, and at one time did not even have running water in my small school housing unit. I've put up with blistering cold, poor public facilities and have risked my life on plane rides through blizzards, snow machine trips across the barren tundra and have had to have survival skills when bored due to the lack of things to do. This has made me into a uniquely strong person that will make me a good husband, the new life I need, with family values first instead of career. I like to live now with all the conveniences of a city. I like puters, TV, working on cars, house projects and taking a drive in a nice vehicle. I am honest, sincere and probably the kind of guy that should of married younger and had several children as I have much to give, but my career seemed to take precedent these last two decades, so, here I am trying to get my social life together. I may decide to work again in the field of education, but for now, I'm more concerned about meeting the love of my life and take life on as a couple.
